Graphene oxide/epoxy composites with enhanced fracture toughness for liquid hydrogen storage

Abstract: Graphene oxide (GO)/epoxy composites cured by aliphatic dibasic acids have been prepared. The influences of structure of aliphatic dibasic acid and loading of GO on curing process and mechanical properties of epoxy composites were studied. The results show that the reaction activities, gel time of corresponding epoxy-acid system and tensile strength of the formed epoxy resins decrease with the increase of the chain length of aliphatic dibasic acids.
