“…Due to the fact that all colloidal GdPO 4 doped with different amounts of Mn 2+ and Eu 3+ ions showed high sensitivity in the physiological range, we decided to investigate the cytotoxic response to the obtained material in vitro. The cytotoxicity of GdPO 4 nanoparticles doped with lanthanide ions has been already assessed, confirming their good performance for biological application [49]. Therefore, the main cytotoxic aspect of nanoparticles investigated here may be related to the presence of Mn 2+ ions.…”

“…By replacing Pb 2+ ions with Mn 2+ ions, the lattice parameters will be slightly reduced, and the recombination energy will be increased, thereby improving the stability 26‐27 . In addition, we can observe that the intensity of the diffraction peak of the doped PeNC glass is stronger than that of the undoped PeNC glass, which indicates that the Mn 2+ dopant can act as a nucleating agent to promote PeNCs crystallization 28 …”

“…into CsPbX 3 NCs in glasses have been realized to reduce the toxic load and generate dual‐band PL. [ 42,43 ] These CsPbX 3 NCs embedded glasses have shown great potential towards various applications such as LEDs, [ 39 ] cryogenic temperature sensors, [ 42 ] data storage, [ 44 ] and low‐threshold lasers. [ 45,46 ] In this work, CsPbX 3 NCs were embedded into glasses and femtosecond transient absorption (fs‐TA) spectroscopy was utilized to investigate the ultrafast ASPL process.…”
