“…I also explore the consumption of these products at the intensive margin by looking at the number of days alcohol was consumed in the last thirty days, if the respondent is a binge drinker and if the respondent is a daily smoker. Binge drinker is a binary variable that takes a value of one if five or more alcoholic drinks are consumed for males or four or more alcoholic drinks are consumed for females on the same occasion in at least one day in the past thirty days ( Hernández-Vásquez et al, 2022a , b ).
