Abstract:BACKGROUND: Gastric neuroendocrine tumors are a heterogeneous group of neoplasms that produce bioactive substances. Their treatment varies according to staging and classification, using endoscopic techniques, open surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and drugs analogous to somatostatin.
