Fused π-conjugated imidazolium liquid crystals: synthesis, self-organization, and fluorescence properties

Abstract: Fused π-conjugated imidazolium compounds bearing two or three long alkoxy chains and various counter anions were systematically prepared following our reported synthetic route.
