Abstract: Notes on 113 fungal taxa are compiled in this paper, including 11 new genera, 89 new species, one new subspecies, three new combinations and xx reference specimens. A wide geographic and taxonomic range of fungal taxa are detailed. In the Ascomycota the new genera Angustospora (Testudinaceae), Camporesia (Xylariaceae), Clematidis, Crassiparies (Pleosporales genera incertae sedis), Farasanispora, Longiostiolum (Pleosporales genera incertae sedis), Multilocularia (Parabambusicolaceae), Neophaeocryptopus (Dothide… Show more

“…On account of their morphology, Thynne et al (2015) concluded that the white grain disorder isolates reside in Eutiarosporella and not Mucoharknessia. Subsequently, Li et al (2016a) introduced a new species in Mucoharknessia; M. anthoxanthii with morphology similar to Eutiarosporella. For these reasons, we consider that the position of E. tritici-australis in Eutiarosporella is tenable and needs to be re-assessed.…”

“…et al Li et al (2016a) introduced this genus with coelomycetous asexual morph and phylogenetic analyses showed that it belongs to Lentitheciaceae. Kirk et al (2008) reported zalerion-like asexual morphs and Hyde et al (2013) reported hyphopodia-like structures from the cultures of this genus.…”

“…Phylogenetic analyses LSU, ITS, and RPB2 sequence data generated in this study were subjected to BLAST searches in GenBank. The newly generated sequence data were analyzed with related taxa of Xylariaceae, which were retrieved from GenBank based on recent publications Daranagama et al, 2015;Liu et al, 2015;Li et al, 2016). Sordaria fimicola (Roberge ex Desm.)…”
