Formulation of gastroresistant tablets containing sodium alendronate-loaded blend microparticles

Abstract: Sodium alendronate is an antiresorptive drug used for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis. However, its oral administration is associated with low bioavailability and gastroesophageal irritation.
