“…13 Studies have also shown that formononetin has antitumour effects in several types of cancer, such as breast cancer, osteosarcoma and ovarian cancer. 14,15 Our previous experimental results show that formononetin has a two-way regulatory effect on HUVEC; that is, low concentrations promote proliferation of HUVEC, while high concentrations produce inhibition, 16 but the specific mechanism remains to be understood.
