“…It was established that upon formulating the delimiting characteristics, information carried separately by classifications, formed by architecture, and resources used in the development of the DSS can be used separately. In this respect, we formed and proposed three definitions of the term ‘DSS’ by the principle of integration of the main concept and delimiting features (Morgunov, 2007; Voevodin and Slabunov, 2018): - DSS—an algorithm that provides an active form of decision‐making, implemented on a multi‐user computer system;
- DSS—an algorithm implemented using a database, a base of models and a software subsystem;
- DSS—an algorithm implemented through specialized software, computer equipment and a network, the result of which is transmitted to decision‐makers.
In the process of our research, for developing DSS architecture, the main principles and requirements that are presented by Morgunov, including the principles of constructing a security model of an automated system developed by Bukhtoyarov, were considered (Kovalev et al, 2014). To improve the existing system of land irrigation management, in particular to simplify, but also to improve the efficiency of making the most optimal choice in the implementation of investment projects in the land improvement industry, modern computer‐aided design (CAD) systems were used in developing the DSS, in particular those based on BIM technologies (building information modelling), which are widely used in the architectural and construction industries in the design of buildings (Eastman et al, 2011; Basir et al, 2018; Pocobelli et al, 2018; Tang et al, 2018).…”
