Abstract: Olfactomedin is the major glycoprotein of the extracellular mucous matrix of frog olfactory neuroepithelium. It is responsible for the primary architecture of this extracellular matrix by forming via intermolecular disulfide bonds polymers, which are covered with evenly spaced carbohydrate groups.
