Abstract: The extract of the berry of the American saw palmetto, Serenoa repens, is one of most widely used phytotherapeutic agents available for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). 1 We report the first case of fixed drug eruption (FDE) to S. repens and we briefly review the cases of FDE with herbal medicines.
