Abstract:Pseudobacciger harengulae (Yamaguti, 1938) is a parasite of herrings (Actinopterygii, Clupeidae) in both Atlantic and Pacific oceans. We record this parasite from the gut of Trachurus mediterraneus (Steindachner, 1868) (Actinopterygii, Carangidae) from the Gulf of Odessa, Black Sea, Ukraine.
