“…4 Although fibrous histiocytoma is the most common primary mesenchymal tumor of the orbit and has been reported in the conjunctiva, episclera, limbus, and lacrimal sac, 5 fibrous histiocytoma of the eyelid is relatively rare, with only 13 cases reported since 1968. [6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17] We have reported a rare case of benign fibrous histiocytoma of the eyelid obliterating the canaliculus and its successful management by complete excision and eyelid reconstruction. Because the tumor was excised prior to invading the upper lacrimal drainage system and the common canaliculus, the patient remained free of epiphora.…”
