Abstract:The objective of this study was to qualify the wood of the species Astronium fraxinifolium, Enterolobium gummiferum, Eriotheca pentaphylla, and Plathymenia reticulata of the Brazilian Cerrado for forestry productive purposes based on the classification of their wood basic density and fiber quality indices.
