Ferrocenyl-substituted silanes via the reaction between mono and dilithio-ferrocene with trimethyl, trietheyl, vinyldimethyl or t-butyldimethyl chlorosilanes is prepared. The electrochemical behaviors of these compounds were investigated by cyclic voltammetry. This work describes the electrochemical and electrocatalytic properties of carbon ceramic electrode (CCE) modified with ferrocene composites as a new electrocatalyst material.
