http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/2175-7925.2016v29n2p101O conhecimento ecológico tradicional (CET) dos pescadores é uma ferramenta importante para obtenção de informações ecológicas sobre o ambiente que vem sendo cada vez mais utilizada na conservação dos recursos naturais. Nesse contexto, o referido trabalho descreve o CET do pescador sobre a composição da dieta e local de pesca dos pacus (Characiformes: Serrasalmidae) Myloplus sp., Myloplus asterias, Myloplus ternetzi, Tometes trilobatus, Prosomyleus rhomboidalis e Mylesinus paraschomburgkii na Floresta Nacional do Amapá (FLONA-AP). Para a coleta das informações, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas (n=20 pescadores) e turnê-guiada. Segundo os pescadores, os pacus se alimentam de frutos/sementes, fragmentos vegetais, insetos e perifíton. No inverno, consomem frutos/sementes e fragmento de vegetais. No verão, além de frutos/sementes e fragmentos de vegetais, foi observada presença de perifíton e insetos. Comparando-se as informações dos pescadores com a literatura científica, observam-se similaridades para o período de inverno. Mas, no verão, os pescadores relatam a ingestão de perifíton e invertebrados não mencionados na literatura. Os locais de pesca são caracterizados como sazonais: no inverno a pesca ocorre nos varjões e, no verão, nas pedreiras e calha principal do rio. Os pescadores possuem um conhecimento detalhado sobre a alimentação dos pacus e o grau de refinamento do conhecimento é fundamental para a conservação na FLONA-AP.

RESUMOA pesquisa avaliou a fenologia de Attalea maripa (inajá), relacionando os eventos fenológicos com a precipitação pluviométrica. Os dados foram obtidos em 100 palmeiras adultas provenientes de regeneração natural, em 3,25 hectares de área de pastagens em Bonito, PA, no período de agosto de 2009 a dezembro de 2011. Os dados foram analisados por meio de fenogramas, índice de sincronia e análise fatorial. Pelo que a pesquisa evidenciou, o padrão fenológico do inajá não é sazonal. A floração e a frutificação ocorrem durante todo o ano; são eventos de longa duração, que sofrem oscilações ao longo do ano. A fenofase espata fechada é altamente sincrônica. A frutificação é um evento fenológico pouco sincrônico. A precipitação é um fator climático importante para a fenologia do inajá, pois afeta negativamente a produção de espata aberta com flores e a queda de folhas e positivamente a queda de frutos maduros.Palavras-chave: inajá, floração, frutificação, sincronia. Phenological Pattern of Attalea maripa (Aubl.) Mart. in Pastures Areas of the Eastern Amazon ABSTRACTThe research evaluated the Attale amaripa (inajá) phenology relating the phenological events with rainfall. Data were obtained from 100 adult palms from natural regeneration in 3.25 acres of pasture in Bonito-PA, from August 2009 to December 2011. Data were analyzed using phenograms, synchrony index and factor analysis. The research showed that the phenological pattern of inajá is not seasonal. Flowering and fruiting occur throughout the year and are long-lasting events and suffer fluctuations throughout the year. The closed spathe phenology is highly synchronous. The fruiting is a slightly synchronous phenological event. Rainfall is a major climatic factor for phenology inajá because negatively affects production of open spathe with flowers and leaves fall and positively mature fruit drop.

The acai palm tree is a species of multiple use and of great importance for the Amazonian economy and riverside families. The high appreciation of the acai berry in the national and international markets contributes to the search for new producing areas and the reduction of repressed demand. This research aimed to identify the knowledge of the riverside families about the acai berry extraction activity in the Araguari river valley. The study was between the municipalities of Ferreira Gomes and Cutias, in an extension of 80 kilometers. The properties were sampled according to the following criteria: i) presence of natural acai massifs; ii) acceptance of the research by the interviewee and iii) permission to implement sample plots. Data were obtained through a form and interviews with structured questions. Non-probabilistic sampling (n = 13) was used to select local extractivists who hold acai areas. The field research with extractivists allowed us to infer that the period of high fruit production extends from March to June. The use of byproducts of the acai is little expressive. Although livestock is the most expressive activity in the region, others stand out: fishing, agriculture and extractivism. The commercial production of acai fruit is destined to the municipality of Cutias and most native acai owners have significant interest in the management of this species.
