Fenoldopam, a Dopamine Agonist, for Hypertensive Emergency: A Multicenter Randomized Trial

Abstract: Fenoldopam safely and effectively lowers blood pressure in a dose-dependent manner in patients with hypertensive emergencies. Observations supporting potential risk factors for hypertensive emergency are discussed.
