Abstract: RESUMOO futebol tem sido historicamente pouco praticado por meninas em escolas e espaços de lazer na infância. Apesar disso, sempre existiram meninas que cruzaram as "fronteiras de gênero" -entendidas como as linhas tênues que dividem os comportamentos ditos adequados e culturalmente estabelecidos aos sexos -e passaram a conviver com meninos na prática do futebol.
