“…We measured catastrophic thinking about symptoms using an adapted version of the Pain Catastrophizing Scale (Sullivan et al, 1995). The parent study adapted the Pain Catastrophizing Scale by replacing “pain” with “symptoms” throughout (Silverberg et al, 2022).
