“…The systematic search identified 37 eligible publications, 4–8,18–49 including 20 comparative studies—among which four were randomized controlled trials—and 17 single‐arm investigations reporting outcomes in patients undergoing CSP for CRT (details shown in Figure 1). The comparative studies enabled network meta‐analyses of the three interventions—His‐CRT, LBB‐CRT, and BiV‐CRT.…”

“…LVEF measurements before and after CSP were reported in 32 studies (2145 patients), 4–8,18–26,28–35,37–39,41,42,44,45,47–49 showing an overall mean LVEF improvement of +15.4% (95% CI: [13.3–17.5]; I 2 = 95%; Supporting Information: Figure ). LVEF changes were compared between CSP and BVP in 18 studies 4,5,7,8,20–22,24,25,31,33,37–39,41,42,44,49 .…”

“…The initial results of prospective observational studies on LBBAP are encouraging, with LBBAP lead implantation success ranging from 80% to 97%, and tremendous expectations are reposted in LBBAP for achieving resynchronization therapy in patients with HF and LBBB (Huang et al, 2020;Heckman et al, 2021;Jastrzębski et al, 2022a;Grieco et al, 2022). A seminal study by Huang and colleagues reported a high LBBAP success rate (97%) as a first-line strategy among 63 patients with LBBB and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy (Huang et al, 2020).…”

“…Grieco et al evaluated the feasibility and safety of LBBP-CRT in elderly patients. The study compared electrical parameters, echocardiographic parameters, lead parameters, and complications, revealing that LBBP achieved comparable efficacy between elderly patients and younger patients with narrow QRS, satisfactory pacing threshold, impedance and sensing, low rates of complication, and improved LVEF (33). In summary, LBBP is a promising option for delivering CRT in HF patients, providing excellent ventricular resynchronization, improved cardiac function, and great clinical benefits with a high success rate, low and stable pacing thresholds, and fewer complications.…”
