“…Fe 2 P 2 O 7 is an important iron phosphate which is often used as a catalyst for oxidative dehydrogenation, a food additive for anemia, a supporting medium in solid lubricant and an ingredient for a sort of pigment F-P-Fe [29]. Ericsson et al have studied the magnetic properties of Fe 2 P 2 O 7 using Mössbauer spectra which suggests the existence of a magnetic transition taking place at about 21 K [30], while the magnetic measurement performed by Parada et al revealed it to be an antiferromagnetic transition at about 12.5 K [31]. To verify this magnetic behavior and transition temperature, it is necessary to study the heat capacity of this compound which has not been reported until now.…”
