Abstract:Fanconi anemia (FA) is a heritable malformation, bone marrow failure and cancer predisposition syndrome that confers an exceptionally high risk of developing carcinomas arising in squamous mucosal epithelia lining the mouth, proximal esophagus, vulva and anus.
