Abstract: (16%) would have necessitated discharge during antisocial hours; 2 (4%) were unsuitable because of procedure complexity; 1 (2%) because of femoral arterial haematoma. No association was seen between SDD suitability and demographics, renal function or comorbidity. Conclusion: Using simple criteria, it is possible to acurately predict individuals suitable for SDD.
