“…Like other conditions, SLE is more common in females (90%), and although young women (of reproductive age) are primarily affected, this disease can occur at any age. 18,19 In our study, after RA, LES and mixed connective tissue disease were the most frequent conditions, specifically MCTD does not meet the diagnostic criteria for any of the other CTADs or have clinical and immunological features that suggest them. “…Studies have shown that depression has a correlation to feeling one is a burden to others, fatigue (O'Riordan, Doran, & Connolly, 2017) and body image (O'Riordan et al, 2014). Results show-ing a feeling of being a burden to others, fatigue, and poor emotional health was revealed in research by Etchegaray-Morales et al, 2017. This indicates that depression is correlated to feeling of tiredness, negatives emotions, negative appraisal regarding appearance, and a feeling of becoming a burden for those around one. The differences in the results from studies in various countries become an important focus for study, to determine the correlation between depression and aspects of quality of life for people with SLE, in Indonesia.…”
