“…As we know, the photooxidation of organic contaminants over photocatalysts could be mainly due to active species such as ˙OH and holes. 31 The catalytic ability of TiO 2 is closely related to the amount of hydroxyl radicals. To further confirm the photocatalytic activity, we adopted a photoluminescence test for ˙OH radical analysis.…”

“…The Cu-S system exhibits many different stoichiometric compositions, over a wide range, from the copper-decient side to the copper-rich side, including villamaninite (CuS 2 ), covellite (CuS), yarrowite (Cu 1.12 S), spionkopite (Cu 1.39 S), geerite (Cu 1.6 S), anilite (Cu 1.75 S), digenite (Cu 1.8 S), djurleite (Cu 1.96 S) and chalcocite (Cu 2 S). [87][88][89][90] Owing to the variations in compositions, complex structures, nanocrystalline morphologies, and valence states, these copper suldes are of great interest in a wide range of applications, including photocatalysis, 91 optoelectronic devices, 92 sensors, 93 LIBs, 94 and SCs. 95 Recently, metal-like CuS and Cu 2 S with good electrical conductivities, e.g., 9.5 Â 10 À3 S cm À1 for CuS and 8.3 Â 10 À4 S cm À1 for Cu 2 S, 96 have become of particular interest in LIB and SC applications in view of their high capacities/capacitances.…”

“…The cOH could oxidize MB into small molecules like CO 2 , H 2 O. 42 It has been demonstrated that because of their high oxidative capacities, the photo-generated oxidant species are in favor of oxidizing organic contaminants. 43,44 The obtained CuS HHCs possess the highest photocatalytic activity among all the as-prepared products due to the following several factors.…”
