Face‐to‐Face Contact and Open‐Void Coinvolved Si/C Nanohybrids Lithium‐Ion Battery Anodes with Extremely Long Cycle Life

Abstract: To develop high-performance anode materials of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) instead of commercial graphite for practical applications, herein, a layer of silicon has been well-anchored onto a 3D graphene/carbon nanotube (CNT) aerogels (CAs) framework with face-to-face contact and balanced open void by a simple chemical vapor deposition strategy. “…After calculation, L-Si/C-750 exhibits a higher graphitization degree than that of L-Si/C-550 and L-Si/C-650 products. Better crystallinity of carbon may provide excellent electronic conductivity and promote fast electron transport. ,, Furthermore, compared with that of Si peaks, the intensity of C peaks is weak, indicating that the carbon content in L-Si/C products is low.
