Abstract:Honeysuckle is rich in cynaroside (Cy), but its extraction and purification are difficult due to its poor solubility in water. Therefore, nonionic surfactants were used to extract Cy from honeysuckle plants, enabling the formation of micelles that solubilized Cy in aqueous solution.
