Abstract: Abstract A new screw pump or extruder has been constructed with the goal of testing the drag flow analysis currently used in the evaluation of polymeric extruders. The new device has been constructed in a manner that allows the barrel, screw helix, and screw core to be rotated independently or in pairs.
