“…Indeed, M. azedarach toxicity has previously been observed in calves when its foliage was administered at doses ranging from 5–30 g/kg BW. The calves displayed clinical signs of depression, ruminal stasis, dry faeces with blood, ataxia, muscle tremors, sternal recumbency, hypothermia and abdominal pain, with some calves dying when dosed with 30 g/kg BW (del Carmen Méndez et al ., 2002). No such untoward effects were observed even at 30% inclusion level of the foliage in the current study.…”
