Abstract: A three-domain conjugation heat transfer problem, the model of a phase-change shell-and-tubes heat exchanger, was studied both experimentally and numerically. The saturated water was impinged onto an array of hot tubes that arranged in a confined cylindrical cavity, and then boiled during the travelling to the downstream.
