Abstract:A three-domain conjugation heat transfer problem, the model of a phase-change shell-and-tubes heat exchanger, was studied both experimentally and numerically. The saturated water was impinged onto an array of hot tubes that arranged in a confined cylindrical cavity, and then boiled during the travelling to the downstream. The tubes were hollow, through which the hot air was passing trough and supplied the heat to boil the water on the shell side. Therefore, the problem involved three conjugated heat transfer d… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based startup that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
