Abstract: A novel matrix-less cloud point extraction (ML-CPE) procedure was developed for the determination of mercury (Hg) in groundwater samples collected from the Thar coalfield, Pakistan. For preconcentration of Hg, a complexing reagent, diethyldithiophosphate (DEDTP) was selected.
