Evaluation of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ability of Computer Majors Based on Neural Network Optimized by Particle Swarm Optimization

Abstract: The current evaluation index systems (EISs) of innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E) ability are not sufficiently systematic, scientific, or practical. To solve the problem, this paper tries to evaluate the I&E ability of computer majors, using neural networks improved by particle swarm optimization (PSO). Firstly, an EIS of 22 second-level indexes under 5 first-level indexes was designed to evaluate the I&E ability of college computer majors. Next, an evaluation model was developed based on fuzzy … Show more

“…The parameters of the PSO algorithm were determined based on previous research [52]: the initial population size was 200, the stopping condition was 1000 iterations or a minimum accuracy of 0.00001, the learning constant was two, and the window radius of the PPM was 0.1S z .…”

“…Ding et al used the neural network method to evaluate college students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability. The constructed evaluation index system includes: innovation ability, innovation consciousness, entrepreneurial risk-taking behavior, and entrepreneurial risk resistance ability, which can effectively reflect the level of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability [19]. Pisoni evaluated the connotation of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability from the perspective of the overall concept and defined that the ability is the embodiment of knowledge skills transformation and value orientation [20].…”
