Abstract: Abstract The fatigue life of a linear low density polyethylene was measured as a function of stress, notch depth., and temperature under plane strain conditions. The fatigue life was precisely related to the stress intensity. The temperature dependence of the fatigue life corresponded to an activation energy of 72.5 KJ which was independent of stress level.
