Evaluasi Usability Sistem Informasi Keluarga Sumba Timur dengan System Usability Scale (SUS)

Abstract

Technological advancements have driven the use of information systems in data management. However, during system development, there is often an excessive focus on technical aspects and the functionality of system features, while a thorough evaluation of the system’s usability is lacking. This study aims to evaluate the usability of the Family Information System (SIGA) from the users’ perspective, using the System Usability Scale as the primary method and interviews as a supplementary method. Data was collected through a questionnaire with 10 questions and then calculated using the SUS method to obtain a usability score. The results showed a score of 74, which falls into the “GOOD” category with a grade scale of “C” and is within the “ACCEPTABLE” acceptability range. The interview results also aligned with the SUS score but included several improvements suggested by users. These results indicate that the Family Information System (SIGA) can already be used effectively by users, though certain aspects require improvement. Thus, it is hoped that the findings of this study can serve as a basis for evaluating and developing SIGA to optimize its performance.
