“…We expected that the data would be satisfactorily explained using a factor structure of three correlated dimensions (victimization, aggression, and bystanding). As this has been found in previous studies, we also expected that traditional bullying and cyberbullying would be positively correlated and that males would score higher on aggression, while females would score higher on victimization (González‐Cabrera et al, ; Ortega‐Ruiz et al, ; Pabian & Vandebosch, ). Finally, we hypothesized that the most prevalent subroles among bystanders would be defenders and outsiders, as has been found in previous studies (González‐Cabrera et al, ; Salmivalli et al, ; Yudes‐Gómez et al, ).…”

“…The peer victimization scale was selected from European Bullying Intervention Project Questionnaire (EBIPQ; Ortega et al, 2016). It comprises seven Likert-type items (e.g., “Someone has hit, kicked, or pushed me”), each with five possible responses related to frequency of involvement (0 = never ; 1 = once or twice ; 2 = once or twice a month ; 3 = about once a week ; 4 = more than once a week ).…”

“…The validated version in Spanish of the European Bullying Intervention Project Questionnaire (EBIPQ) (Ortega-Ruiz, Del Rey, & Casas, 2016) comprises 14 items with 5 Likert-type scale response options that measure the frequency of bullying behavior and range from "Never" to "More than once a week". The EBIQP consists of two scales.…”
