Spatial distribution of rainfall in soybean and cotton farms in the far west of BahiaAbstract -In counties São Desidério and Correntina pluviographs were disposed during the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 crops to monitor the daily volumes of rainfall. Consider the wettest quarter, December, January and February, we performed the modeling of the total rainfall. To perform the modeling of rainfall were adopted statistical techniques that consisted in a detection of outliers, modeling of spatial dependence, cross validation and construction of the rainfall distribution map through ordinary kriging. Was detected different spatial behavior for both crops, as were also observed different dispersion values for volumes of quarterly total rainfall. The rainfall excess for the month of January in the 2008-2009 had higher peaks than in , in the same month, the temporal distribution of precipitation was more homogeneous.Key words: West of Bahia; geostatistics; kriging.
O máximo neste trimestre chega a 700 mm.
