Abstract: A paramagnetic centre is produced in CaF, by oxygen diffusion and subsequent X-irradiation. From E P R and ENDOR results it is possible t o ascribe C, symmetry to this centre. The experimental data a t measuring temperatures T 77 K can be fitted well to an oxygen-fluorine-vacancy complex.
