Abstract:Mucormycosis is an emerging disease primarily affecting the immunocompromised host, but scarce evidence is available for solid organ transplant recipients (SOTR). We systematically reviewed 183 cases occurring in SOTR, exploring epidemiology, clinical characteristics, causative pathogens, therapeutic approaches, and outcomes.
