Abstract: The lipid nanoparticle (LNP) mRNA vaccine was first tested through clinic but suffered from relatively low RNA payloads and poor temperature stability. Our lab patented a protamine-coated particle approach for temperature-stabilizing DNA vaccines, translating this successfully to the clinic.
