Abstract: The limited energy in wireless sensor network has always been a key topic. Most previous studies usually regulate the network loading by periodically directing the data flow to different sinks in order to extend the overall life-time of network and enhance the network availability or data delivery. However, the time and place that an event occurred can not be estimated, thus regular information flow switching may not be able to balance the actual loading of network. Another, multiple paths to sinks for each no… Show more

“…In such networks for IoT, nodes are distributed in a certain region for specific purpose and gather the required information, for example, the information about the temperature, motion, and physical changes [6][7][8]. The nodes forward the gathered information to the intermediate nodes because of the limited transmission range of the node [9,10]. Therefore, the intermediate nodes use the unintended energy for the packet forwarding of the source node, which induces high energy consumption of the nodes and thus accelerates network partitioning.…”

“…Although sensors are inexpensive, they have limited computation capability and battery capacity. Sensor nodes in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) collect sensed data and cooperatively send their data through the routing lifetime [3][4][5]. The network lifetime can be defined in many different ways (e.g., the time elapsed paths to a destination; one of the main issues in WSNs is energy efficiency that allows longer network until the first (or last) node dies) [6,7].…”
