Abstract: 5The purpose of the chapter is to introduce the T-shaped professional and advance it as an organizing rubric for curriculum development in higher education as a strategy to enhance employability. The chapter explores the T-shaped professional by investigating its history, considering the context creating demand for T-shaped people, and outlining curricular and pedagogical strategies for a developing T-shaped people.
