“…It can be seen that the shapes and locations of peaks agree with the peaks of 3 r -T curves measured at À150-200 C. The relaxor behavior around FE-PE phase transition can be analyzed according to the Curie-Weiss law. 9 The equation is expressed as…”

“…In recent years, a certain improvement of the ECE has been achieved in various kinds of ferroelectric materials, especially in lead-based ones such as Pb(Zr,Ti)O 3 (PZT) ferroelectrics and Pb(Mg 1/3 Nb 2/3 )O 3 (PMN) relaxor ferroelectrics. [8][9][10][11] Based on the demands of environmentally friendly development, the ECE of lead-free ferroelectrics has also been emphasized with typical examples of BaTiO 3 (BT) and (Na,Bi)TiO 3 (BNT)-based materials because of the strong ferroelectricity with diversied phase structures of BT and the existence of depolarization temperature (T d ) of BNT, respectively. [12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20] However, scarce attention has been paid to another lead-free ferroelectric, potassium sodium niobate [(K,Na)NbO 3 , KNN], even though it also has strong ferroelectricity and plentiful phase boundaries.…”

“…The ECE is associated with the polarization, phenomenological coefficient, multiple polar states, as well as the breakdown electric field, etc. [56][57][58][59]. Indeed, these physical properties are strongly dependent on features and morphologies of dielectric materials such as grain size, size distribution, and aspect ratio.…”

“…This is because the indirect method only calculates the polarization along the direction of the electric field. The direct method, however, will measure the temperature change caused by the polarization in all directions …”
