“…The inhibition of tyrosinase activity can be dependent on the hydroxyl group of phenolic compounds in M. autumnalis. These findings are accordance with Prasad et al, (39), Fatiha et al,(40) and Zengin et al, (32). In the literature, no publications were found about the antioxidant and enzyme inhibitory activity of M. autumnalis …”

“…Increase in pressure could increase the fluid density, decreasing the distance between the molecules by the rupturing effect of pressure and thereby strengthening interactions between the fluid and matrix (Lang and Wai 2001). During rupturing process, the chemical substances within the plant materials are rapidly released into the surrounding extraction solvents, which enhanced the solubility of the solute, mass transfer rate and diffusion of solvent into the plant material and improve the extraction yield (Prasad et al 2010;Sonsuzer et al 2004). The decrease in extraction yield with increasing pressure after a certain pressure (162 bar) might be due to the volatility and polarity of extracted analytes and interaction between the other parameters.…”

“…These results indicate that the sample of ultra-high-pressure assisted extraction possessed higher phenolic contents and exhibited stronger antioxidant activities than other samples (Prasada et al, 2010). As a new plant extraction technology in recent years, UHP provides a new approach for traditional Chinese medicine extraction (Liao et al, 2010).…”

“…UHP has been use for the extraction of flavonoids, anthocyanins, ginse- noside, flavones and salidroside (Prasada et al, 2009(Prasada et al, , 2010Corrales et al, 2008;Xi et al, 2009;Angela et al, 2011).…”
