Enhance packet transmission using improved channel assignment in wireless mess network

Abstract: Summary An efficient technique called channel Assignment (CA) is used to exploit the multiple non‐overlapping channels that improves capacity and decreases intervention in the wireless mesh network. Although it can reduce total network interference, there may be certain design issues by which network performance can be unfair. For maximizing the usage of wireless LAN network spectrum in these environments, many studies have discovered how to use the complete spectrum while transferring the data via mesh networ… Show more

“…In the proposed framework, idle channels were allocated according to the QoS requirements of users, which improved the spectrum utilization. Sathyasri et al 5 proposed the Enhanced Traffic-Aware Channel Assignment Protocol helping the mesh nodes present in the large-scale mesh networks to assign the channels. Jagannath et al 6 proposed a cross-layer routing and spectrum allocation algorithm based on the deadline for the sake of QoS requirements.…”

“…The cluster head is evenly distributed in the non uniform sectors of network area .Using this scheme the network life time increases by balanced energy. Sathyasri et al [23] presents a novel technique for channel assignment which is used to exploit the multiple non overlapping of channels that improves the capacity and decreases the intervention in the wireless network. This system discussed the channel assignment in large scale mesh networks.…”
