Energies and electric dipole transitions for sodium-like gold

Abstract: We have reported energies and electric dipole transition parameters, such as transition probabilities, oscillator strengths, line strengths, and wavelengths for Na-like gold (Au68+, Z = 79) using AUTOSTRUCTURE atomic code. Calculations include Breit and QED contributions besides correlation effects. A few of the results have been compared with available theoretical and experimental results in the literature. Our atomic structure data for sodium-like gold are in good agreement with others. Also we have presente… Show more

“…In our previous works we reported energy levels and radiative parameters for tungsten and gold ions [36][37][38][39]. Now the autoionization rates which have played an important role in the progress of spectroscopy have been presented for Na-like tungsten (W 63+ ), Mg-like tungsten (W 62+ ), Na-like gold (Au 68+ ) and Mg-like gold (Au 67+ ) using AUTOSTRUCTURE code [31].…”

“…Beside quantum electrodynamics (QED, self-energy and vacuum polarization) and the Breit interaction (magnetic interaction between the electrons and retardation effects of the electron-electron interaction) contributions were investigated for tungsten and gold ions in [36][37][38][39]. All these contributions and correlations effects play an essential role in atomic calculations.…”
