Abstract:Flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy (FFB), introduced by Ikeda in the late 1960s, dramatically improved the potential for diagnosing lung lesions. 1 Since that time, FFB has been utilized for numerous therapeutic and diagnostic indications.
