Emission Characteristics of Multi-Tandem OLED using MoOxwith CGL

Abstract: We studied emission characteristics of blue fluorescent multi-tandem OLEDs using Al/MoO x as charge generation layer(CGL). Threshold voltage for 2, 3, 4, and 5 units tandem OLEDs was 8, 11, 14 and 18 V, respectively. The threshold voltage in multi-tandem OLEDs was lower than multiple of 4 V for the single OLED. Maximum current efficiency and maximum quantum efficiency of single OLED were 7.6 cd/A and 5.5%. Maximum current efficiency for 2, 3, 4, and 5 units tandem OLEDs was 22.6, 31.4, 41.2, and 46.6 cd/A, res… Show more

“…Various researchers have studied CGL to re ne the performance of organic LEDs [19][20][21][22][23]. In 2016, Kim et al [24] discussed the emission properties of blue uorescent multi-tandem organic LEDs using CGL of materials Al/MoO x . The maximum quantum e ciency and current e ciency are obtained as 25.6% and 46.6 cd/A, correspondingly.…”

“…Many researchers have investigated CGL to improve the performance of OLEDs. [16][17][18][19] Kim et al 20 explained the emission properties of blue fluorescent multi-tandem OLED using CGL with the materials Al/MoO X . In this research, the current efficiency and maximum quantum efficiency are achieved as 46.6 cd A −1 and 25.6%, respectively.…”
