Electron–Phonon Interaction Induced Hybridisation in Mixed‐Valence Systems

Abstract: The two-site extended spinless Falicov-Kimball model with electron-phonon (EP) interaction is considered. The usual electron-phonon interaction term is suitably converted in terms of electron operators. Average occupation number of f-electrons, the correlation function between f and d-bands, and the correlation between sites are calculated.
