We assumed that 32 percent of patients with pulseless electrical activity have coronary or pulmonary thrombosis, 8 and that 30 percent of the patients in this subgroup who received t-PA would survive to discharge, as compared with 1 percent of those without these conditions given t-PA and 1 percent of those given placebo.…”
