Abstract: Single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) can be used as an electrochemical probe to study the electrochemical oxidation of DNA, two voltammetric oxidation peaks corresponding to electrochemical oxidation of guanine and adenine residues in DNA could be observed, demonstrating a new potential application of SWNTs in DNA analysis.
